Click on the course number on the course list to read the description of the course. Course Numbering and Credit Amount CALCampus high school courses are numbered in the 200s on our Course List. The course descriptions specify whether a course covers the content of a full year or a half year. There is no uniform credit system among high schools. The transcript states the course in terms of length: ex. 'full year content' or 'half year content'. If using the course for transfer into another school, it is then up to the particular high school to award their credit amount. In our High School Diploma program, we award 1 credit for a full year content course. Course Transfer If you choose to seek transfer credit for one of our high school courses, you need to first arrange with your own high school counselor to accept a particular CALCampus course for credit in your high school program.Print the course description to show your counselor. We can also provide you with a syllabus to show your counselor, if needed. Ask the Director if you have questions about this. |
