Education

B.S. in Engineering Physics, University of Montana; Masters Degree in Natural Science with mathematics emphasis, University of Idaho.

Professional Work

Retired high school math teacher (25 years). Mr. Austin has taught many mathematics and computer applications courses to adult students in an extension program of North Idaho College, Couer'd Alene, Idaho. Mr.Austin has taught in CALC since 1989.

Other Items of Interest

Prior to teaching, he was a World War II Air Force pilot, a Korean war veteren (nuclear weapons) and a Cold War warrior. He was a SAC aircraft commander flying B-47's during the 1950's and flew the Hump during World War II.
